IE studes at MC

Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid La Union Campus, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education, Edtech, 3rd year students were given the chance of visiting Miriam College (High School Department) in relation to the subject under Dr. Paulito C. Nisperos.

The trip was last September 6, 2010 with 69 students composed by 3a, 3b and 3c with Dr. Nisperos, Dr. Oliva and the department guidance chair of IE, Mrs. Alicia Land.

Departure was around 2am of September 6 and arrived at Riverbank, Marikina City at around 9am. Breakfast was eaten there and everybody enjoyed the wonderful view of the riverbank which was so relaxing and comfortable to look at because of its grassy plains and the water that cools the environment.

Everybody took time posing their best pose and spending batteries of camera just to earn a lot of remembrance from the place as well as the bonding we had together. Each of us was able to enjoy the place as we roam around and chat with each other while waiting for the time.

There was also a mall near the riverbank where we bough some collective items as our souvenirs. We visited all shops inside it and was able to buy several stuffs.... everybody was jam packed with things when we get back to the bus.

Aside from that, we also had the chance of taking photos at the big shoes displayed in the mall which is a part of the guines book of world records. That shoes is really amazing... its big and cute :) anyway, everybody i guess had taken with them a photo of that thing... worth keeping...
There, we had also witnessed the making of a part in the scenes of the primetime show in ABS -CBN (Krisitne) with its primary characters Cristine Reyes, Denise Laurel, and others. It was a great thing for those who idolize them (count me in..hehe).. Well... it was fun watching them making such scenes, as if its true.... so cuuutteee:)))

After having our lunch, everybody took time to rest and change clothes before finally going to MC. We wore the orange shirt, designed by our instructor (Dr. Nisperos) himself that was so nice... (Color ng damit namin was matched with the color ng sign  board nila alongway.. hehe :))

Then, here comes MIRIAM!

We entered the campus and it was so amazing to see a high school ground as clean and as organized as what we have seen there.  The buildings are like just built yesterday, no any stain, no vandals, no other unnecessary posts... (kakahiyang hawakan hehe) ..
The ground is so wide, green (relaxing), very nice and really, its a wow to see the grass (kakahiyang apakan)..
We were directed to first go on a room (there multimedia room) for the short briefing and films showing about the school. It was really so fantastic! They also introduced us their principal and other teaching staff.. after which, we were divided into 3 groups for the tour around the campus with 1 MC teacher as our guide.

As we roam around... Cameras wont stop from flashing. The school is really great, classrooms are very tidy, well organized and are all set to conducive learning setting.. We have passed by students that though in the absence of teacher still can manage their class and can discuss things within themselves only and take note.... in ENGLISH language huh... kakamangha talaga!

We had also seen their laboratory rooms (bonngga!) 1 is to 1 lahat ng things and apparatuses.... How i wish, soon, all high schools all over the Philippines will get the chance of having the same thing. its a good way of easily teaching lesson and at the same time, enables all the students to perform experiments individually, letting them experience everything not just for the lesson but to learn from it and apply it.

Their corridors are also clean... Spaces are properly manage.. Garbage cans are correctly used according to segregation of wastes. There are also lockers placed alongside but are very safe because all are secured by cctv camera (ohh san ka pa! malufet!) hehe
That also lets students know the value of truthfulness.

Miriam college (high school department) is a school where all talents could be crafted. They have special rooms for those who are specialized in different subject areas like math, science or english.. They also have the recording room and the covered gym enough for the students to play games.

The school also has its Chapel that proves their fidelity as a Christian school.. Its so great to have such in the campus, its a place where everybody could rest and talk with God. Behind it is the Praying Garden that is so wonderful. Its full of plants and trees that cools the entire place. Its a good place to rest at.

Miriam College also has their elevators. That's one of the greatest things I have seen there for even in a college school. only few have such.... (how i wish kahit escalator lang ) haha... anyway... they also have the small veranda where some small gatherings are done... and nice, we had tried eating there ... they served us some foods and refreshments after the tour around the campus..

Truly, Miriam College is an ideal school that produces a lot of productive and competitive students in any field of existence..... Its a good example of a school that has a good climate to learn and to become better if not one of the best in the world.

After the tiring but enjoyable  tour around MC campus, we left the school at around 4pm.... From there..
We learned a lot!

Hope to see you again next time - MC!

Our pleasure to visit Miriam College....
